Hi, below are the notes for our first discussion on Monday, 13th July.

Final topic

Facebook was chosen, because 1 was too inapporopiate, and we simply weren't interested in Michael Jackson. On the other hand, Facebook was something relevant not only to us, but to millions of others all over the world. Plus, we just like Facebook :)

Think about this:

Before Facebook, Twitter, Friendster and other such social networking websites, what was the main form of meeting new friends? Penpals/ carrier pigeons form a contrast with Facebook. Evolution from carrier pigeon to Facebook.

Story so far

  1. Two people meeting on Facebook, one is addicted to Facebook, and one is not.
  2. Two people meet on Facebook, and meet up in real life. Develop a real-life friendship / relationship. OR, one turns out to be a bad guy
